game jam update 08/05/25

so i havent posted for a while this is just a kindoff an update what i have been up to 

ive been working on the game jam submission to the fuck capitalism jam 2025

its kindoff like a welcome to the deepweb / terminal hacking kindoff game demo
its interesting but i hate the code its so ass i mean ive wrote the 3 thousands of lines of code in 8 days and it works and i have to finish it until the end of this month

but the problem is that its tied to 64bit windows due to the libraries being well 64 windows based

its whatever if il have some time left il try to port it to linux or similar just to make it more crossplatform

though i am not giving myself enough credit the game runs really well fps wise its not like its an really complex game its basically an terminal simulator but yea i like it its nice il make a video when its done on it i still have to record the ending cutscene of the game 

i hope it will be better than the ending cutscenes of home invasion remastered lol

i am also planning to add basic mmorpg multiplayer just kindoff like pve basically leaderboards you can trade with others grind there will be an economy etc but so far i should focus only on the demo

ok for now thats enough information about the work ive done

recently ive bought an modded xbox 360 i am most likely gonna write some homebrew in the future the only issue is that the xbox 360 is depended on dx9 its kinda sad so much potential either way its modded so i can play anything really it will be fun might stream it or smth idk

also i am nearly done setting up my server as my monitor was incompatible with xorg (it was a tv) so now i am just waiting for an used monitor i sniped on an auction to arrive to change it for its like an 2014 gaming monitor yea so it should be fine its fhd 60hz i think idk wasnt specified how many hz it has if it has more then 30 il be happy its just for my server i dont care its gonna run idle for most of the time anyway 

either way ive also been thinking about the xboxes networking capabilities but ive been hitting a roadblock yes my xbox that ive acquired is modded but the xbox 360 and basically any console really has hardcoded networking checks just so the company that created the console can make more money of you lovely isnt it heh i fucking hate this playstation plus xbox live this shits ass

so even if i have my own server i cant really develop anything without going to low level with the game so fuck that bruh like what retarded corpo fuck at microsoft or sony idk had the idea to profit monthly of fans that just want to play with friends

 basically the networking works like this

console > xbox live or smth > server

if xbox live is down well too bad

yea so thats great also the xbox dosent like to play with lan so that makes it even better

just great

oh yea also today ive watched a video by Seytonic that cybersecurity news channel and aparently nullbuldge was arrested aka the disney hacker the furry one now theres nothing wrong with someone being a furry but if you have a hacking "group" and call it nullbuldge (in this case it was him just lying about it being a group) then i think you should recive an restraining order to stay away 100m from any school / playground in your proximity 

he got 10 years in maximum security 1 less pedo around the less the better 

humanity is an very weird thing that i will never fully understand but i will always be able to sort right from wrong and this was wrong not the hacking part if he wasnt lying about his intentions sure whatever leak whatever but this questionable shit like dude you can go and fuck yourself with that
